Another piece of the puzzle

The pieces keep snapping into place.  We are proud to announce that the Jefferson Parish Democratic Executive Committee has endorsed Cedric Richmond in the race to represent Louisiana’s 2nd Congressional District.

With Jefferson Parish accounting for a large part of this district, the JPDEC ‘s endorsement is a very important piece of the puzzle.  We’re thrilled that they recognize Rep. Richmond as the best candidate to represent the people of the New Orleans area in D.C.

Cedric on announcement of New Orleans East hospital purchase:

"Today, we announced the City of New Orleans has agreed to purchase the ravaged Methodist Hospital building for $16.25 million and redevelop the property into an 80-bed public hospital," said Rep. Richmond.

Thanks For A Great Kick-Off!

Dear friends,

Thank you so much for the tremendous outpouring of support you showed Cedric and the campaign last night at the kick-off event!  Even in the face of such heavy rain, we couldn't have asked for a better way to "officially" start the campaign.

As you know, this campaign really started a long time ago.  There are many people who have worked hard to take us this far, and to them, we are forever grateful.  Now, we have reached the point in the campaign at which we need EVERYONE!
